About the editor

Ron Chrisley is Professor of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Sussex, where he is also Director of the Centre for Cognitive Science.

His work spans artificial intelligence, cognitive science, and philosophy of mind, with particular interests in the conceptual foundations of AI, machine consciousness, embodiment, and the relation between artificial and natural minds.

He edited Artificial Intelligence: Critical Concepts in Cognitive Science as a reference work for scholars seeking a deeper understanding of the historical development, conceptual structure, and broader significance of artificial intelligence.
